Glossary
Terms that mean something specific on TogoActive. Where a word has an everyday meaning too, this is the one that applies here.
Achievement — A milestone that unlocks automatically when a participant meets its conditions. See Achievements.
Category v4 only — A distinct entry option within one event, with its own price and capacity. See Categories.
Coupon — A code that changes what someone pays. Not the same as a referral code.

Opt-out — A participant withdrawing from the event, up to the opt-out deadline.
Override — A feature setting you have deliberately pinned, so it stops following its mode default.
Participant — Someone registered for your event. Distinct from a visitor, who has only looked at the site.

Referral code — A code identifying who referred a participant. Records attribution; does not change the price.
Season — A sub-event within a Seasonal-mode event, with its own dates and finisher distance.

SKU — An individual purchasable item in Rewards, including its variant — a specific size of a specific jersey rather than the jersey generally.
Slug — The part of a web address identifying your event. See URL slug.
Sync — The automatic import of activities from Strava into your event.
Upgrade — Something bought after registering, as opposed to merchandise bought during signup. Sold during the upgrade window.
