Registration

Where: Registration

How people sign up for your event: what you ask them, what they pay, and who is allowed in.

This is the commercially important part of the platform. Every extra field costs you completed signups, and every confusing step costs you more. Build it, then test it end to end before you announce anything.

The two screens

Registration Form is the builder — a three-panel editor where you construct what participants see and fill in.

Registration Options is the rules — who can register, when, and whether entry is free.

Inside the form builder

What a participant actually walks through — steps appear only if you have enabled them:

The dotted line matters commercially: with nothing payable, a participant goes straight from their details to the success page. Every step you add between those two costs you some completed registrations, so add each one deliberately.

The form is organised into tabs, each covering one step of what the participant goes through:

TabWhat it holds
Intro ContentThe text above the form. Why they should sign up.
Account DetailsName, email, the account they will use
Form FieldsEverything else you ask
QualificationEntry requirements, where they apply
MerchandiseItems sold during signup
UpgradePaid upgrades offered after registering

Guides in this section

Before you open registration

  1. The form submits without error, from the public site.
  2. A real card payment goes through and lands in Payments.
  3. The confirmation email arrives, from the right sender.
  4. The test registration appears in Participants.
  5. You have removed your test registrations.

The first event checklist covers this in full.
