Rewards and merchandise
Where:
RewardsEverything you sell or give away, and the rules around it: items, prices, sizes, stock, discounts and coupons.
Guides in this section
- Items and SKUs — the things themselves
- Coupons — discount codes and who can use them
- Discounts and instructions — quantity pricing, and the copy participants read
Core and add-on
Items are split into two kinds, and the distinction runs through the whole section.
Core items are the main thing a participant gets — the event jersey, the medal, the finisher pack. Add-on items are extras bought alongside a core item — a spare pair of socks, a second jersey, a cap.
The split drives real behaviour: add-ons can be made to depend on a core item, so nobody buys a matching accessory without the thing it matches.
Set these up before you need them
Items must exist here before they can be offered during registration or as an upgrade. This section is the catalogue; those screens decide where it appears.
The deadlines that constrain you
Physical merchandise imposes dates on the rest of your event:
- Your manufacturing order date decides your Profile Update Deadline, because sizes must stop changing before you order.
- It also decides your Upgrade Window close, for the same reason.
Set the merchandise dates first and work the event dates around them, not the other way round.
